The status description provides a summary of the development of the COVID-19 epidemic in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein for the last two calendar weeks. The descriptions are based on data received by the editorial deadline on Wednesday morning of week (21.07.2021) following the reporting week. The figures for the week shown are not yet complete at this time due to reporting delays – especially in the case of laboratory-confirmed hospitalisations and laboratory-confirmed deaths. The descriptions are not updated retrospectively. The figures in the descriptive texts may thus deviate slightly from the graphics, which are updated on a daily basis to account for any late, incorrect and duplicate entries that are reported for the week in question.

The current status description is only available in French, German and Italian at the moment. The status description in English will be provided as soon as possible.
