Status description

Status report, week 18 starting 09.05.2022

The status description provides a summary of the development of the Covid-19 epidemic in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The descriptions are based on the data we receive by the editorial deadline on the Monday morning eight days after the week under review has ended (23.05.2022). The figures for the week shown are not yet complete at this time due to reporting delays – especially in the case of laboratory-confirmed hospitalisations and laboratory-confirmed deaths. The descriptions are not updated retrospectively. The figures in the descriptive texts may thus deviate slightly from the graphs, which are updated on a daily basis to account for any late, incorrect and duplicate entries that are reported for the week in question.

The current status description is only available in French, German and Italian.
