The data published here is based on information provided to us regularly by the cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. We publish the numbers each Tuesday. Therefore, they may differ from the numbers communicated by the cantons and Liechtenstein. The figures cover vaccines from all manufacturers.
Several vaccines for preventing COVID-19 are authorised in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. A booster vaccination with an mRNA vaccine from Moderna (Spikevax®) or Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty®) and the Novavax (Nuvaxovid®) vaccine is recommended at the earliest four months after the last vaccine or after infection for everyone aged 16 or older. More information on the recommended vaccines and the time period between vaccines can be found on the FOPH website > Coronavirus: vaccination.
Information on adverse vaccination reactions (AVRs) is collected via Swissmedic’s spontaneous reporting system. Swissmedic reviews and evaluates the reported side effects. More details can be found on the Swissmedic website. The time frame desired can be selected with the slider below the graph.

Vaccinated people, Ticino, 21.12.2020 to 30.01.2023
The graph shows the development in the number of people who have received at least one dose of vaccine and the number of people who have been vaccinated in the last six months by 10-year age group, with age groups according to the COVID-19 vaccination strategy. A review of the data has shown that for the 0-4-year-olds the entries are mainly erroneous. We are not aware of systematic vaccinations for under 5s. For the sake of transparency we are publishing the data sent by the cantons without processing them.
